Adi Kuntsman is Senior Lecturer in Information and Communications at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. Their past work explored queer and migrant on-line communities; regional Internet cultures in the Middle East and Eastern and Central Europe; digital emotions; militarism and political violence on social media. Adi’s recent work focuses on the use of selfies in political actions; digital memory; the politics of ‘opting out’; and environmental damages of digital communication.
